School begins in Palm Beach County on Monday, August 18, 2014!
I know… where did the summer go? But, yes, here in Palm Beach 
County we do begin earlier than other areas of the country.
There is so much information available at the School District of Palm Beach County website and the information is available in Spanish, Creole, Portuguese, as well as English!
Here are some links that should help you with any questions you may have.
1. You can find your bus stop. All you have to do is enter your home address, the name of the school and AM or PM pick up.
2. You can access the calendar for holiday and other schedules.
3. You can also contact the different departments for the school district.
4. You can find the answers to all of your questions about when to register, what you need, school hours and more.
5. And, our schools need our help. If you would like to assist a school near you, you can check here to find out just what their needs are.
6. And finally, School Safety.
Yes, the little ones will be out in numbers and not always focused on what’s around them. Please read the tips provided for Safety, and go over it with your children.
Just a few tips:
* For safety, don’t have your child’s name on their clothing or backpacks.
* Coordinate with other parents or guardians to have an adult at the Bus Stop.
* If they are walking, have a path that you’ve gone over with them.
* Stranger,danger may not always be the case. Empower your children to let you know if they are not comfortable with certain individuals.
