Farmer's Market

Don't you just love a good Farmer's Market?  Buying fresh produce and locally made products is something that I love.  It is great for our local businesses as well as providing us with healthy, organic food.

Grogan's Mill Farmer's Market - Every Saturday year round from 8 a.m. until noon!  Located in the parking lot of the Grogan's Mill Shopping Center.

Tomball Farmer's Market - Open year round 9 am to 1 pm.  Right on the corner of Main and Cherry.  Plenty of parking but get there early if you want the best pickins!

Neal's Berry Farm - A really great old-fashioned market that is open daily Mon-Sat 10 am to 6.  Sundays 10 am to 2 pm.  Great location just south on Gosling a few minutes from The Woodlands.

Theiss Farms Market - With 2 locations; Rayford Rd. & Stuebner Airline, it is easy to get to the location that works best for you.  One of the oldest producing farms in the area.  For over 158 years!  I think they have this down!

Feast of the Artisans - Held at the Southern Star Brewery in Conroe, this is a really fun place to get your veggies and try and little brew at the same time!  Right on FM 3083 near the Conroe Regional Airport.

Sweet Magnolia Pickins - Open on the first & 3rd Sunday of each month from 11 am to 3 pm.  On the corner of FM 1488 and FM 1774.

Come on out to any of these locations and stock up on locally grown, fresh produce!  Bring your shopping bags and rolling carts if you plan on buying a lot!  Cash is always a good thing as well yet most vendors will take a credit card.

SEE YOU AT THE MARKET!

Hi Paula - I love our various farmers' markets. A Sunday morning treat for me is to walk to ours at Ft. Mason center here in San Francisco; or the Heart of the City one. It sounds like your local ones are just as delightful.

Thank you Will and Lottie.  I believe more and more people are finding these to be great substitutes for the traditional grocery store.

I really like shopping at a local farmers market . . . . Fresh stuff . . . . good prices.

Good luck and success.

Farmers markets. Shoot a video and upload, post is good advice. Have done two and updates with different vendors, products makes them popular for the local community flavor of what happens around these parts.
