Amery Alcove "A place to relax and enjoy"
As a Realtor I am able to see some wonderful homes on a daily basis. In this case I was unable to show my client as the home was across the border in Wisconsin. So after showing them several places in Minnesota, they came across this gem. Their goals were simple, find a nice lake home with space for 10-12 people to come out and quilt or craft. They fell in love with the place and bought it through an agent I had referrred them to here in Wisconsin.
They invited us up for a week for helping them find the home. We invited our small group from Constance Free Church up for the weekend and then our family for the week. With 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms we were able to sleep 12 comfortably for the weekend. The home has granite counters and stainless appliances with a spectacular deck over looking North Twin Lake. Our group enjoyed the lake, the quilting areas, the deck, the fire pit, and of course cooking and eating. We walked into to town on the 7 Lakes trail and visited all the local shops. We also toured the Lake on the pontoon which also conects to Pike Lake via a channel on the West end.
