The neighborhood is Hidden Valley and we're on the west side. It's got entrances off 2 main streets, both HWY 249 and Veteran's Memorial. Although the neighborhood is centrally located, it has a wonderful homey feel to it, with all brick homes, mostly post-war designs, on large lots with mature trees and beautiful landscaping. Back yards are fenced in and front lawns just flow green and lush. There is a recognized elementary school right in the neighborhood and the Aldine ISD buses pick up at most corners if not at the driveways. Most residents have school age kids or are the original owners and elderly. The age of the neighborhood is mid 60's, but there is seldom an issue of slab with the homes, a lot of homes have had their roofs replaced and driveway extended for boat/rv parking. Most neighbors take good care of their homes. I've had the privilege of working with several residents and they like their neighborhood overall, and buy investment property within its boundaries. There is no HOA and taxes are low. Although there is a trend to add-on to the houses or convert their garages, my listing has no add-on's and it still has the two car garage.
