Pasadena CA Sierra Manor Affordable Condos 125 South Sierra Madre Blvd
This is a recap of the affordable Pasadena condos for sale along with a market update at the Sierra Manor complex. Located at 125 South Sierra Madre Boulevard, statistical information in this report is from our local multiple listing service(mls) as of July 30, 2014.
Sierra Manor is a 48 unit condominium complex built in 1972 as apartments and later converted to condominiums. The units range in size from one to two bedrooms with up to two baths. Approximate square footages are slightly over 600 to nearly 1200 square feet. Each has a patio or balcony area and most have a fireplace.
Common area amenities include lobby entrance with elevator to all three floors of living. There is a gym, common laundry, pool/spa and ground level secured parking.
The convenient location and affordability(relatively, of course keeping in mind this is Southern California) combine to create an excellent opportunity for renters to become Pasadena homeowners. Located just south of Colorado Boulevard, Sierra Manor is close to transportation along with so much of what Pasadena has to offer.
There is currently one Sierra Manor condo for sale. It is a top floor one bedroom, one-and-one-half bath unit with approximately 882 square feet with hardwood floors, fireplace, skylight and balcony listed at $349,800. There is another unit, also a one bedroom, in escrow. There have been no mls-reported closed transactions so far in 2014.
For full year 2013, there were two mls-reported sales. Both were one bedrooms. A unit with approximately 849 square feet closed in October of that year for $300,000(list price $275,000). The other, with approximately 603 square feet sold for its list price of $248,000 in December.
