Throwback Thursdays- Beware of the Big Black Bear
Growing up we took trips to the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee. The most fun was watching for bears and counting how many we could see. This photo was taken the summer I was 3 and a half. I remember it so well as my daddy actually got out of the car to take the picturewith the Kodak Instamatic. I was so afraid that the big black bear was going to come eat my daddy before he could get back in the car.
When he got back in the car I remember him saying that the bear was looking for food left behind by the tourists and he was using his nose to sniff out garbage cans. He also told us to never feed the bears and to stay away from them so we wouldn't be mistaken for their food. Good advice.
