Where the system breaks down is where people try to make nice with their problems instead of terminating them. Then, there are those that are so rigid that they wont let you or others do any skinning but their way and that doesn't work either..

The only way to become an effective crime fighter is to fight crime. You jump in the mix and figure it out as you go using trial, error, and course correction. You don't give up but instead tweak your approaches so that every time you take a beating or make a misstep, you learn from it. You become stronger for it.
