Team Up to Green Up in Gaithersburg
Volunteers can partner with the City of Gaithersburg to adopt parks and streams through Team Up to Green Up. Integrating a variety of activities including trash and invasive plant removal and stream rehabilitation, Team Up to Green Up is an ideal way for individuals, schools, businesses, and community organizations to get involved in the beautification of our neighborhoods. Partners receive supplies and support from the City, and their efforts are recognized with a sign posted in the adopted area. Learn more here.
Your group, your business or your family can make a difference with your Team Up to Green Up efforts. Be creative and take advantage of this opportunity.
For out of the area readers, the City of Gaithersburg is located in the heart of Montgomery County, Maryland in the suburbs of Washington, DC. If you home community does not have a program like this, you should be the founder.
