Last week I had the BEST sugar free, gluten free vegan chocolate pie but I have NO idea how to make it!
While I did find out that the crust is made from crushed nuts and dates and I have searched the internet to find this wonderful dessert, I guess I am going to have to return to Leafy Greens Cafe in St Petersburg Florida if I want to have it again.
This was without a doubt, the best dessert I have EVER had! Any ideas out there on how to make it?
Looks wonderful. How ever do they make a sweet desert without sugar? The crust makes sense and sounds great.

It must be high in calories.... one date is 23 calories.... the crust alone in one slice of pie must be 100 calories.... I have a feeling the fat content is high....so the calories from fat are high.... looks fabulous though...

Barbara, yes, I know dates are high calorie but I eat a couple every day anyway, so putting them with nuts to make this masterpiece would be heaven!
