Test Car From Michigan on California Freeway

I was really excited to see it and FYI I was the passenger in the car. I see people taking pics sometimes while driving but CA will ticket drivers. It was reaaly a neat site.

I have never seen this before but when I 'Googled' it, of course I found out that the California Desert is the place to bring them. There must be a course out there that they use.

Yes that was my guess too but they sure make it hard to even guess which automaker.

I agree, it is a wild paint job. My husband says sometimes they have magnetic panels that just fit over the panels and says on snugly and other times they put a foam wrap all over the car. Talk about being noticeable to the public.

He probably has a highly sophisticated blue tooth system in the car so he doesn't have to break any laws. I noticed he was just barely driving 65 mph so he probably tries to keep a low profile.

Yes, I saw on the website about the test cars that a few celebs like custom cars with designs on the door and one had a yellow SUV with big black paisleys all over but I like my solid navy colored car too. I even think a lot of celebs like to ride low profile.

The automaker would probably fire the driver if they got into an accident as the first thing the police asks is Make and Model. OOPS!

So many of the cars look the same so they can drive around with these panels on the car and most would never be able to determine the maker since they are in test mode. It was pretty cool to see and I was on my way to the airport to fly to Chicago for Leadership-Academy Women's Council of Realtors.
