I'm looking for a good investment property.  I tell my clients every day this is a good time to buy.  The interest rates are low and the prices have softened a little bit.  I expect inflation to hit with a vengeance in the future.  So for all these reasons, I tell my clients "Now is the time to buy!"

I think now is a good time for me to buy as well.  A good investment for me might be different than for you.  I may have different goals in mind but real estate has always proven to be a good investment.  In times like these when stocks are so volatile, maybe you should think harder about investing more of your money in real property.

I love real property and I can spend most of my time every day looking at property and comparing prices and amenities.  I never get tired of this profession.  I love Land and Houses and I see value in every piece I look at.  I would love to show you the value in the properties you have interest in.

Maybe you are just now toying with the idea of buying investment property.   Why not look in an area that has the possibility of good appreciation like the Texas Hill Country?  Our market is still very good here.  It is growing with new people from out of state coming here and from other Texas locations as well.  Our jobs are increasing and new economic development plans are in the works for our area.

                            hospital

Kerrville is a retirement haven and draws lots of retirees due to the small town atmosphere but close enough to San Antonio to visit anytime.  There is a new hospital just now being finished and the medical facilities here are incredible for a town this size.

There are numerous art galleries and museums.  Many artists live in Kerrville and the other Hill Country towns because of the beauty of the area.  The quietness allows for deep inspiration and the shops are filled with artwork from hundreds of local artists.

Come visit the beautiful Texas Hill Country and let me sell you a piece of "Paradise".           Medina River

Ricki - The Texas Hill Country truly is beautiful. I was fortunate enough to be treated to a stay at the Lake Austin Spa for my birthday last year. What a pampering experience that was!

Hi Marchel,   I am looking forward to it also.  I can't believe it is almost here.  Two weeks from now, you and I will be sitting together talking face to face.  How great is that?! :)

Funny Stuff. Yes, I have my Texas liscense but I did get a speeding ticket about a month ago. What a nightmare it has been trying to get it dismissed. I had to bribe the officer with brisket. Ta dum! Ha

Ricki...I hope every consumer that is out there thinking about moving to the Texas Hill Country connects with your blog. If this doesn't convince them nothing will. You are doing such a wonderful job presenting your photo's and information. Great job Ricki. Windmills and water makes it for me.

Carl,    Thank you so much for your kind words.  I try to promote my area well because I love it so and everyone I introduce to this area does too.  More than half my clients come from out of state.  They are amazed at the beauty of the area and the friendliness of the people.  The prices aren't bad either.

Ricki, If you do buy something, yell it from the rooftops. Be an example for your "investors."

Hi Bill,   It's good to hear from you.  I will buy something.  I am finishing up a real estate project I bought in Oct. last year.  Real estate is always a good investment I think.  I built a house in 1981 when interest rates were 19%.  That was one of the best investments I ever made.  Since nobody else built during that time when it came time to sell I made lots of money.   So come on people, Get off the fence! :)

Just got back to read your response. I think I am rubbing off on you and you are getting pretty funny. Here is one for you.

My wife and I just bought this dog with no legs. I take him out for a drag everyday. Ta dum!
