Classic post, David! We don't need any one night stand showings. Commit, or go away!

"You don't have to do anything, we found the property online. Just need you to write the contract. You don't have to do anything, you just show up and get paid 3%."

A good reminder to get a buyers agency agreement signed. There are buyers who will text/call agents all over town soliciting opinions and advice.

This is classic. I loved the post. I needed a couple of Dear John letters to buyers and sellers when I started out, too!

BAM. We're in this business to not only help people, but to make money and support ourselves. People like this just aren't part of our business plan. Good blog.

David Pylyp just received an email from the buyer about 'breaking the relationship' - and I did not cry! In fact I jumped with joy, because that's what I wanted to happen!
Some buyers don't deserve our agreements!

Late night surprise calls are not for business in my opinion.
All luck and friends,

Breaking up is hard to do. But without a commitment from a buyer, we are just waisting time.

I can hear the song in my head now, "Breaking up is hard to do......" Clever and fun post but oh so true.

It sounds like they were not only a time sucker, but a two (or perhaps three?) timing time sucker!
Love it! So much humor in reality! I have found that a lot of those folks just don't understand how I earn a living. Some are just jerks, and some are just takers.
David, this is priceless.
And you know the worst part, right? When your play-a is playing you, he/she's playing with me. Yup, I'm the mistress here. I can figure that out when I've gotten 2 or 3 calls or emails from someone who's clearly a consumer and yet is asking questions or making statements that are above their pay-grade, and I know they've gotten something from someone else.
Yup, by call #3, we're in a committed relationship, or not.
Funny post. So true.
Some people are just obsessed. I just find myself responding at my convenience always asking for an appointment.
David, Sometimes we need to exercise tough love. No commitment from people means they don't get the best of us. We are not toys to be played with.
You are a very gentle soul:)
I have no patience for that, not in business relationship nor in personal ones.
