The West Virginia State Fair starts August 8, 2014 and offers fun, excitement, entertainment, education, exhibits and so much more!
The Fair is located on the State Fairgrounds in Fairlea, WV in the Greenbrier County. Thousands of people come to the Fair from all over West Virginia and other states.

State Fair 2014 Competitions - The 2014 State Fair celebrates 90 years of “Blue Ribbon Traditions” with competitions that will be bigger and better than ever -- from livestock, equine, home, arts and gardens, and 2014 Smart 529 Coloring Contest.

Some Special Events at the 2014 State Fair are:
First Annual Blue Ribbon Car Show, Sunday, August 10th from 11am till 4pm
nTelos Wireless Blue Ribbon Talent Search, Held Monday, August 11th from 3:30 till 6:30 on the nTelos Wireless Center Stage
Fireside Stories - Every night beginning at 9pm in the camping area beside the free parking lot
- Advance Adult GA (ages 13 and up): $10.00 +6% WV Sales Tax
- Advance Youth GA (ages 6 to 12): $8.00 + 6% WV Sales Tax
- Advance Mega Pass: $30 + 6% WV Sales Tax. Valid for 12 hours of unlimited rides. 11am – 11pm – Good on any day of the fair (Gate admission sold separately)
- Advance Big Pass: $25 + 6% WV Sales Tax. Valid for 6 hours of unlimited rides. 11am – 5pm – Good on any day of the fair (Gate admission sold separately)
