Karen Anne Stone of Fort Worth Real Estate wrote to us and said, "... I would love for you to include some pictures of your church/home in a post, so we all can see.  Does the fact that you now live in a church ... make you the 'church lady?'  And ... if sales slow down for you, it is now extremely easy for you to 'pray for the market to improve.'  Cool!"

So here are a couple before/after pics:

Funny thing about your 'Church Lady' comment ... the employees at the Jantzen Beach Home Depot in Portland, Oregon got used to seeing us almost every day (sometimes several times a day!).  They called us 'The Church People'.

And as for praying for the market to improve, we thankfully had a good 2007 and if things continue they way they are, we'll have an even better 2008.  We can't help but feel that where we live has at least a little to do with that!  :-)

Patty & Scott, pics are gorgeous!

I have a contractor friend of mine doing a remodel on a large downtown Denver church circa early 1900's. I visited him there the other day to have lunch and boy was it amazing. They are turning it into 4 luxury town-homes and the ceilings are 30 feet high in areas and one of the units will utilize the bell tower which goes almost 100ft up. Original stain glass windows will be mixed with newer style windows. It will be amazing when finished. he told me depending on unit they will start at 1.3 million. I thinks it is cool.
