When I heard of the passing of Robin Williams I was truly saddened. There are legends in our lifetime that make an impression on us. Robin Williams was one of those legends whose artistic work truly made a difference in my life.
NEVER TAKE LIFE FOR GRANTED - Sadly, even though Robin Williams was able to entertain millions of people and bring a smile to our faces, his final days were not happy ones. No one will ever really know the demons he was fighting within. This is such a reminder to never take life for granted. Life is precious and often times cut too short.
TAKE TIME TO LAUGH EACH DAY - I loved the fact that Robin was so impromptu. He could take just about any situation and see the humor in it. Laughing is good for the soul so don't forget to take a little time to let out a good belly laugh each day!
REACH OUT - Remembering to reach out to our loved ones, our friends, our clients and to those who just may cross our paths infrequently. When someone pops into your mind, give them a call. We never know what someone is going through so just reaching out on occasion is a good thing.
USE YOUR TALENTS - Mr. Williams used his talents to the fullest. He discovered that he could make people laugh and went forward using his amazing talent to entertain others. I love to write and blogging provides me that outlet. What talents or skills are you utilizing to the fullest? Need to write that book? Take a course? Just get out there and do it!
BE THANKFUL - I hope that Robin knew how much joy he brought into my life and many others. I am thankful for the movies and the comedy routines that he shared with us! I am thankful for my life and do hope to impact others in my life in a positive way.
TRULY LIVE - Anyone who has watched Robin Williams saw that he was larger than life! He was OUT there! What I have learned from him is to really LIVE my life to its fullest! Be out there! Be bold! Have FUN!
So Mr. Williams, thank you for your joy, your humor, your larger than life antics! I have learned a lot from you! May your family truly know what a gift you have been to so many others!
