Mason Ohio M/I Homes New Construction: Alverta Phase II Opens August 16 2014
After a very successful phase I lottery in December 2013, M/I Homes is ready to accept contracts on the next 10 homes starting this Saturday morning at 9 a.m. in this Mason School District new construction community located just off the I71 Western Row interchange.
But instead of a lottery, this time it's first come, first serve so we personally wonder if that means we'll be seeing sleeping bags on the model home front lawn Friday?
Basically, 10 lots will be sold out of about 30 to pick from. Expect homes to price in the upper $300's and beyond. And while that Phase II Alverta sale is just a few days away, you still have time to get yourself ready to go.
What are you going to need to do?
- You're going to need to know what floor plan and elevation you want.
- You'll need to have a lot or lots picked out that will work for you. Phase II lots are primarily along the street on the east edge of Alverta, running parallel to the Oakwood Lakes condo community.
- And you're going to have to prequalify with M/I Homes approved mortgage pros (but you DO NOT have to take a loan with them, you're still free to choose).
- And of course, we recommend you have a buyer's agent NOT associated with the builder. You need someone to guide you through the process, and if you don't already have an agent to rep you, we'd be happy to do so. We're NOT affiliated with M/I homes so there's no potential conflict of interest on our part. M/I Homes plans for a park at the back and they've already installed a couple of small lakes. Don't look for a pool or a clubhouse though, those recreational services are better met by heading to the nearby Mason Community Center.
