Things are looking even better in Aurora's zip code of 80017. Home prices are up 14.57% from 2013's home sales Jan-July.

 

 

July finished out the home sales with a increase of 12.93% over 2013 same period!

 

Comparing the homes that sold YTD 2013 to 2014 are pretty close with 2013 have sold 345 homes and 2014 selling 390 only +45 difference. The great thing for home sellers at this time is the increase in the value. 

From Jan-July 2013 the average price of the homes sold was $143,564 and during the same time-frame in 2014 the average price was $164,486. A $20,922 increase, which is one of the biggest percentage increases in Aurora!!!! This zip code is small compared to most in Aurora with little movement in Detached Homes going on the market. There are a larger percentage of Condo/Townhomes that sells in 80017 which makes the "Price look lower"

Homes are not sitting on the market as long as well. The average homes sat on the market in 2013 for 48 days and in 2014 same time-frame only 22 days. This is a 55% decrease!
