Yesterday a friend of mines father went and had his tires rotated. When he left the repair shop he had went down the road about 1/2 mile and one of the tires came flying off, he lost control of the car and hit an embankbent. Luckily he survied the wreck with just alot of bruises and cuts. From now on when I have my tires rotated I will make the service person go around and make sure all the lug nuts are tight there while I am watching. This could have been a very bad wreck. So please start checking before you leave the shop.

I took my SUV in for an oil change and the next day I was driving down the highway and my car faltered and make some awlful noises and started really chunking along (I was on a 6 lane interstate highway in the fast lane) and pulled over to the side and called road side assistance. The Valvoline store I had been to forgot to put the rear differential plug back in. It caused $3000 in damage plus the cost of a rental car for 2 weeks. Unfortunately, this happens way too many times. A very close friend of mine bought a brand new Honda Odyssey, she had taken it in to get fog lights installed. The next day driving down 295 into Baltimore a wrench flew through her radiator. The mechanic had dropped a wrench and never retrieved it. Scary...

The sad thing is with my friends father is he is 73 years old and the car was paid for. The repair shop has called numerous times today of course they are afriad they are going to get sued.
