As I sit here trying to put out a meaningful post, my thoughts keep turning to the World and all its present problems...and if I kept dwelling on these thoughts IT WOULD BE OVERWHELMING...
SO.......In times like this, when the torrents seem to be flooding down on us, I distract myself with THOUGHTS OF THE LORD AND HIS KINGDOM PROMISES...e.g. COME TO ME all you who are heavy burdened and I WILL REFRESH YOU...OR...ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR THE GOOD with those who LOVE HIM and are CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE...
WE ARE ‘WOUNDED HEALERS’...IMPERFECT SINNERS, WE CHRISTIANS, who, LIKE CHRIST, are called to SERVE, NOT TO BE SERVED...To WASH EACH OTHERS FEET...CLOTHE THE NAKED, FEED THE HUNGRY, VISIT THE SICK, Be MINDFUL OF THE POOR...
YES.......ALL while bearing our own ‘BURDENS’...The yoke the Lord asks us to bear, which, according to His Promises WILL BE EASY, and those ‘BURDENS’ WILL BE LIGHT...
Like Peter, our response to those who may suggest we try another path...’LORD, TO WHOM SHALL WE GO.......YOU HAVE THE WORDS OF ETERNAL LIFE’...!!!
HANG IN THERE MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS, MY FRIENDS, YOU WOUNDED HEALERS, ‘BE COURAGEOUS, and WAIT UPON THE LORD’...HE IS NEVER LATE...!!!
LET US LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS HE HAS LOVED US...!!!
