Ever try to think of different ways to draw a crowd to your broker's tour on a new listing? Now I know food and drink are part of the usual suspects at these events, but how about in addtion to that, adding an informative "educational" portion of the tour?
For those Realtors who have a Professional Home Stager on their team, if you already haven't asked, why not suggest to your Stager to come (provided of course they staged the property you've listed) and give a Q & A time for your Realtor colleagues who drop by?
Believe it or not many Realtors still have questions about home staging. What a great way to open the dialogue and get your beautifully staged property seen!
Questions usually range from the following:
- What is home staging?
- How can it help sell a property?
- How much does it cost?
- How does a stager work?
- Are there different packages available?
- What is a consultation?
- What if a house is vacant?
With notice I'd be willing to bet your Stager can accommodate your open house tour and maybe even be willing to throw in a gift certificate as well.
It's a perfect way to build both of your businesses as well as network and provide a valuable, educational service to your fellow agents.
Not only can you do this with a Professional Home Stager, but how about a Mortgage specialist or home inspector?
Paying it forward pays great dividends, monetary and otherwise.
