Fishhawk Lake-Gift Giving Ideas

Being a photographer at Fishhawk Lake, I have scads of pictures of different seasons. Since people happen upon my blogposts and look at my copious amounts of pictures on ActiveRain as well as my website, I decided to take it a step further and use my photos as occasional gifts.

The editing program that I use, ribbet.com had partnered with Zazzle several months ago and as I was editing, I noticed this company as an option for a way to put my photos on all kinds of products. It looked like fun, so I tried it with a client who was buying a log cabin from me back in January.

They loved it! I also took a photos of their view in summer and made it into a guest book as they had told me they would be bringing many friends out during the warm months.

The Zazzle program was easy to use and they are constantly offering 15% discounts throughout the year.

Another buyer  was planning on doing projects after their purchase, so I thought I'd take one of those boards that comes with a pen with ink you can wipe off and use over and over again. I put a photo (that the new buyer had taken) of their lakefront view on it.

I have created canvas prints and pillows, too. I actually made a pillow for myself. Two of my neighors at Fishhawk Lake saw it and raved about it, so I've ordered one for each of them.

This was my "Rainbow over the Spillway" photo at Fishhawk Lake, taken many years ago with a little point-and-shoot digital camera. I was so pleased with how well it turned out!

Here is another pillow I just ordered(I took this one morning right out my lakefront door):

You can put another photo on the back, add text, make them seasonal,  it's so much FUN!

I just ordered greeting cards with one of my signature photos, the fall at Fishhawk Lake that I took that I also have on my business cards, my lakehomesatfishhawk webite and it is the photo you see on the Homeowner's Association Fishhawk Lake website:

So, if you have some great photos of your clients' homes, or their community, this might be a really unusual way of capturing their place for a gift that no one else will be giving them. Put your name at the bottom and they'll always know how to find you for that next referral!
