Certainly in some areas, we are seeing signs that falling home prices have hit bottom. Cities in the California Valley- Tracy, Lathrop, Mountain House, etc. are seeing a market that has picked up. Some home prices have fallen 50% from the peak of the market in these areas. Well priced homes that are on the market as a short sale or REO are receiving multiple offers. I mean a lot of offers per home. The buyers are coming from Silicon Valley and other parts of the Bay Area. Many of these homes are being swooped up by investment buyers.

The buyer that I am working with has relocated and works in the area and is looking for a home to live in. My suggestion? If looking to buy out in these areas, you need to get educated as much as possible about the market and strategize on which properties are going to give you the biggest return on your investment or the home you want to spend next Christmas in. The time is now……. !!
