Go Green! Paperless Home Inspection Transactions

Michael, moving towards paperless is a big deal for me. Hard to adapt but making progress. Enjoy your day!

Good morning, Michael.... oh, how I love that piece of paper for security.... I like my paper trails!!!! old school.... old ways.... but I sleep at night.

We are trying to go paperless but like Barbara Todaro I like to keep my paperwork.  Just too much can go wrong with paperless storage.

Michael, it is a wonderful way to do it...print the pages you want...cool!

Excellent work, Michael.  You will be saving a lot of trees.

Michael ....these are the best ....Clients love doing them this way. There's still one inspector locally that still uses a note book and carbon paper ...I personally like getting the reports on-line and so do my clients.

Michael, my inspector has a computer and a camera during the inspection, and has no paper.   His report is emailed within 24 hours of the inspection and has gone GREEN too.

I like this option Michael, and appreciate your "green" sensibility. Naturally, people can always print one out if they feel they need to hold the report in their hands, or in a file. 

Michael that is an excellent service and given the number of pages in a Home Inspection Report it saves a lot of trees.

Michael, I really like this option. What's interesting is the extremes involved in inspection reports. I worked with an inspector (not our choice, I might add...) who actually bound a book for the client of the full inspection report. Overkill in my mind. 

Michael, funny, but I tried going paperless or as much as I could...I think I'm printing more hard copies now than ever before!

Hi Michael - I appreciate the savings in time, not really concerned about saving the paper since I have a lot on information about the tree industry. I always keep a copy of the report in my files forever. I am sometimes encouraged to drag them out years later to explain something that the home owner forgot about. As much as I love technology and all the great things I can do. It's still harder for me to retrieve a 7 year old report electronically than it is to go to my files sorted by date and pull out the report. I've had a multitude of computers in the last 10 years, and even though files are backed up, finding what I want in a database of thousands of files can be a problem sometimes.

Of course I use electronic signatures for almost everything, but I still keep a hard copy.

Hello Michael ... my office has been paperless for over 10 years now, and as a tree huger I love paperless anything. I wish the government would step in and crack down on all the credit card companies, etc that send letter and letter of wasted paper through the mail system.

Paperless home inspection reports should be a standard procedure.

I like that convenience and many of my buyers will too. I have had buyers pay for home inspection when they are overseas. This makes it so easy.

This is a great step!  Our office is now pretty paperless which is a struggle for some
