Good feng shui for the home is important to many of my San Jose, Saratoga and Cupertino home buyers.
While I am not a big fan of earth tones personally, as Laura Cerrano notes in The importance of Healthy Earth Energy in Your Home and self, earth energy gives every home a sense of stability and security.
One way I've integrated earth energy into my Silicon Valley home is with interesting rocks that belonged to my late mother, legendary Silicon Valley real estate agent Judy Carr. We put three of her favorite large lava rocks in the front. They have a similar energy to the wizard rocks in Honolulu, Hawaii.
In both the front and back yards, we installed paths of rocks that also belonged to my mother.
Inside, we have a bowl with a rock collection-some that were hers, and others we've collected from our travels over the years.

You can even utilize scents such as with smudge sticks or essential oils. These are tapping into the more emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of Feng Shui. Even consider the types of foods your pull from the earth that fuel your body.
All of these components relate to positive earth energy in Feng Shui.
