In Life & In Our Business “Tolerant Words and Self-Control…
When confronting difficulties, whether it is in our business, (and or) in life there are certain expectation that’s upon us on how to best deal with the problem. There’s no doubt most all parents expect their children to act accordingly without using harsh words when resolving problems. So why not us?
Have you ever let your temper get the better of you? Life has a way of mixing it up and throwing curve balls at us. Especially in our business, sometimes we get lost in making things right when things go wrong. In trying moments our tempers get the better of us, and we use retaliatory words to confront the issue. The problem with using harsh words to solve problems is that harsh words can do more harm than good.
We need to be mindful that words are so powerful. Use the right words and they can propel you to greatness, just as saying the wrong thing can bring you down. Remember, not only do you hurt others, but also, it is not professional, and it makes you look like an amateur when losing your self-control.
The way we communicate and use our words are indispensable to us, as a matter of fact our actions and the words we use define us. The choice is clearly ours as we confront others. So why not use our best judgment and chose tolerant words over harsh ones “as well as” chose self-control.
