Q Man!~kinda fun to wake up to someone else's morning, huh? I'm getting quite a few Desert Rats scurrying up here to look at property in a climate that isn't so hot...and as one couple put it, "actually has seasons that you can define".
We too have a bit of cloud cover - not fog per say - this morning. Makes for a nice cool start to the day. Loving our late summer weather and so looking forward to autumn leaves.
Hi Gayle - Beautiful photos. I love those foggy mornings on our lake - it's so peaceful and pretty out there.

Hi Gayle, beautiful photos of the Fishawk Lake in color and B&W. Screaming peace!
Gayle,
Happy to report another gorgeous day. We have actually scheduled our walks as the beach is calling us constantly. It is not nice to resist the pull of the tides. Love your shot. A
Debb, good weather for dog walking in the morning! They love it.
OH, Dick, I love that picture--there's something about the softness that always gives me pause.
Beth, it was so dang quiet that morning--I felt like I was stealing a precious moment!
R&A~I will be getting there someday.
Debbie, really?? I wasn't as happy with it as some of my others, but just didn't have the energy to pull together a full post.
Love it in color and love it in sepia - and when the fog lifts from Fishhawk Lake in the morning, it is clear, calm and nirvana!
Beautiful photos Gayle, I can feel the dew on my face. Being on the lake or riverfront can be so calming, especially in the early mornings.
Love the photo--especially the color one with the hint of blue in the sky and the boat(?). Very cool.
Gayle, the title of your post might work for the title of a novel: FOGGY MORN on NORTHSHORE DRIVE at FISHHAWK LAKE. The colored photo would be a great cover for the book. Can see a pretty good mystery weaved from your post. Probably would be on the best seller list:)

Such a lovely place and nice to see fog. It is a very rare event in south Florida.
Joanna, the editing processes for my photos are so much fun! And these early AM photos lend themselves to playing with them quite easily. I did a number of affects, then went back to start with the original photo (the first one).
Bette, oh, I love that reaction!
Yup, Tom, that's a pedal boat on a dock of the home I just sold!
Jane, I LOVE THAT IDEA!!!!! (I've never written a mystery, but hey, I'm not dead yet...)
Marco, I hadn't thought about that until you mentioned it...hmmmm....but then we don't have dolphins here!
Gayle, lovely pic. We still are a bit warm for any fog. If I get some more smoke does that count ;)
Hello Gayle ... beautiful photo and featured to the group:

Definitely the color one! It looks just like a postcard. You could use that for marketing.
Good afternoon Gayle ... so beautiful and peaceful. Would love to just grab a morning coffee and soak in the mist. Enjoy!
Donald, NO SMOKE OR MIRRORS....
VB, thank you! I feel honored, as I don't think this was one of my best.
Roy, good to know.
Georgie, really? Wow, thanks.
Oh yeah, Judith, I'm with you on this one!
Fishhawk lake and your camera produce so many results that should really be hung in an art gallery, thanks for sharing your art with us Gayle!
