Monday Morning Gifts... The Gifts that Keep on Giving.....and Taking :)

By

Good morning......:)  Every time I say that on my Monday Morning Blog, I am hoping that no one is starting their day off cranky, or overwhelmed.  Mondays are a fresh start for everything.....at least it's an opportunity, and it's up to each and every one of us on how we want today to be.  Unless you're a parent of school aged children.

Monday Morning is a School Day

These  Parents don't get the same freedom to start their day as some of us do.  I know....I am here with my 5 Grandchildren, and boy, between breakfast, hygiene, lunches to make, and getting them dressed and out the door on time....well by then I need that Morning Coffee :)

One of the best things about being in the Real Estate Profession is that we can take off to be with our family, without fear of losing our job.  I wish I had this job years ago when my kids were little, but at least I get the benefit now,  with my Grandchildren.  It's so important to be able to be there for those "special" moments of theirs.

As I spend time with my Grandchildren I thought I would share my Monday Gifts with Parents of young or school-age children this week.  There are so many great websites out there, with so many wonderful things.  I hope you can find benefit from either of these sites.......

Schoolage child

Gift#1 ~A fun as well as useful tool for the little ones that are learning  to  write their own name....I found this on a site for kids furniture.  You just never know where you might find cool things.

Gift #2 ~ I have used this web site to   Make Puzzles  and many other activities for not only my Grandchildren, but also for my Real Estate Newsletter.....there's a lot of activities for different age groups.  This is a resource site for Teachers, but hey all Parents are Teachers :)

Now for a fun Gift for everyone even if you don't have any children or grandchildren near you :)

Gift #3 ~  Marketing Fun for Free  There are a lot of different things you can do with this site......Just another one I got from AR....but I forgot where, sorry :)

I took the template and advertised the Home I wrote this Post about:    Want a Great Marketing Idea......I got mine by Judging an Active Rain Contest

Great tips for everyone!  Monday mornings are always hard... I have a 3 yr old and a husband to get out the door before 8:30 can be tough sometimes.

Sally- How nice to start my day with a Friend.....almost like sitting having a chat over a cup of coffee....after we're done chatting I'll just say thank you for the compliment :)

Vince-Yes, our family and our kids (or pets) are what is important..... working to live, and not living to work helps keep things in perspective.  I am sort of a work-a-holic and it just takes one of the kids to get me to slow down, or stop altogether for a day......:)

Oh Naoma-------I feel for you.  My daughter is never going to understand how her 3 youngest were late to school today.....I tried, I really did :)  And the worst part is I wanted to drive them, but had to let them walk so they would learn the consequences for dilly dallying this morning :(   My hat is off to you and all the mothers out there of little ones......  Gift #1 I think you might like it for your child....if they're an older 3 that is.

William-I made the name one last night Gift #1 and will let my Granddaughter practice her name on my tablet.....she loves using the computer, so downloading to the Journal Writer allows her to practice writing with todays technology.....don't ya just love it :)  I'll be looking for your Post, but I'm sure you were talking about Gift #3.....and not 1....LOL :)  You have a good day too my friend.

Ryan- Ya know I don't know how they do it either....I am exhausted by the time they get out the door :)  And today there is baseball practice, homework, dinner, reading, tutoring.....oh my is it bad Real Estate Practice to go back to bed now :)

Hi Kathy,
How long will you be staying with the g'kids?  Makes you appreciate your peace and quiet, doesn't it?  LOL!  I know the kids are loving having Grandmother stay with them.

Love the gifts, especially #1 since my little one is learning to write her name & letters.  You sure have found some neat things to share.

Cynthia- I have been with the kids for 2 days, and tomorrow I have to go home after they go to school.   You are so right about appreciating my peace and quiet :)  I wanted to play chess with my grandson, but we just didn't have time.....and like I said I don't know how parents do it these days......LOL:)

I am glad that you can use it.....my 5 year old just practiced with the one I made her, and of course then the 13 year old wanted to try this too.  Have fun with it.......
