Sis Do you remember times with Grandma?

My Grandmother Tamzan would come to vist from Vermont and we enjoyed her visits! I've always loved this photograph of my older sister Sue with our dog Sugar spending some quality time and getting a hug from Grandmother Tamazon (my dad's mother). It certainly was a calmer life style than we experience now! Life was much simpler than and took us much longer to get to each other's homes.

One of the most precious memories of my grandmother was her standing at the stove with her big apron on.  She wouldn't flip the fried eggs like mom did but she would swish bacon grease over them.  That always fascinated me.  When I met Debbie the first breakfast she cooked I was taken back when she cooked eggs exactly like my grandmother had.  I knew she was a keeper!

Dorie, that picture brought back memories for me because my Dad had a car that looked a lot like that one.  It was a 1951 Chevy DeSoto.

Dorie, This is a beautiful photo from memory lane.  I agree with George, my grandparents had a car like the one in your photo, a 51 Desoto.  As a child, I wrote my Grandparents (who lived in 800 miles away) weekly, we were very close, but so far away.

Yes those were slower and simpler times. I wish at times we had some of that back. These are cherished moments.
