How Happy Are You?
Do you think you could document it?
Who doesn't have time to be happy? 71% of the people who tried to document 100 happy days in a row failed because they said they didn't have time!
So here's the challenge. Go to 100HappyDays.com and register. Choose a social media site to hold yourself responsible - I chose Twitter. And then every day, for the next 100 days, post a photo of something that makes you happy and hashtag it #100HappyDays.
Why?
Because making a conscious effort to find things that makes you happy will make you happy. And because everyone knows they have lots of work, but do you know that you have lots of happy, too?
You may have heard of the Gratitude Project - write what you're grateful for every day. This works the same way - by calling attention to the good things, we experience more joy.
Is it easy?
Yes and no. The best I could find earlier this week was the beautiful view from my husband's hospital room. But it made me happy.
Please do it. I'd love to see what makes you happy - because that would make me happy, too!
