How
would you like more
traffic, readers
and subscriptions
to your blog...even while you're sleeping?
Blog Rush
is a New Widget I've come across that will do just that. Click here
to watch a quick video on this amazing new tool and you'll discover:
A New way to send your blog
readership through the
roof.
How Bolg Rush's secret and
proprietary code will generate
viral and uncontrolled
traffic to your blog like a twister on steroids!
A Simple 1-2-3 Step Formula to get
started that even your 83 year old grandmother can follow.
...
And if that doesn't work, I've developed a easy-to-follow video
(below) that presicely shows you how to put this widget on your blog.
The reason I know it's
easy to follow is that I've tested it on my friend Franky and he could even do it.
Please
understand, Franky thinks that he still lives in the 70's
(shirt unbuttoned half way down his hairy chest, more gold around his
neck than Fort Knox, and there's literally enough grease in his hair to
lubricate a Ford F-150).
Needless to say, I can
say this about Franky because I know he'll never see this. He
literally turns on the computer (with help of course) to reply to
e-mails from his 91 year old grandmother back home. Go figure!
So let's begin, simply click on the video below
and discover how to post Blog Rush on your blog quickly and easily and
see how this powerful tool will boost your blog traffic exponentially...
Sasha...what do you think about this widget in terms of users linking out of your website into a competing site? Thanks for the video...
Also, could you tell me how you made your video...what program allowed you to transfer the screen capture to video...
Thanks again Sasha

Hi Bob, The widget is viral so when it goes to competing sites, your blogs will also be posted on other sites as well. Which in turn, helps YOU in SEO. Plus, who are you really competing with???
The program iI used to make the video is called Camtasia Studio 5 by TechSmith Corporation.
Thanks again for watching my video and posting a comment. The next video I'm going to probably produce is either on how to post subscription feeds to your site OR How to Make your blogs look a lot better as far as colour (that's how Canadians spell it) font and graphical enhancements go. Please feel free to subscribe to either my feeds or the the blog suscription if you want to be notified as soon as they are released.
It might be a good idea to subscribe to one of the feeds (ie, Google, Yahoo, etc) right now just to familiarize yourself with what people are receiving with these feeds before you place them on your site.
Again, thanks for your comments and please feel free to e-mail me if I can help in any way in the future.
Thank you Sasha! I did it...or at least I think I did! ;) BlogRush has to approve me, so then I should be able to tell if it really worked or not. I am going to subscribe to your blog ~ I can't wait to learn more!
Sasha, you actually did a good job with that video. I didn't quite ubnerstand why you suggested that we should subscribe to all of the RSS feeds. After all, we might not be interested in what some of them offer. At any rate I think the video and your narration was very helpful, and I look forward to your next video.
Hi Lloyd, The reason I suggested that you subscribe to the RSS feeds is because I will be posting a video in the not so distant future on how to put them on YOUR blog page and I wanted you to get familiar with what the RSS Feeds looked like and what others will be getting from your feeds (once you put the links on your blog). Best - Sash :-)
It was a bit weird as you put the link to this post to an absolutely unrelated blog by Lisa Salinas-Gruver, which is considered a no-no on AR. I did it once and was beaten up.
You might have a great stuff, but I would still be careful with promoting anything and giving links on comments to other agent's blogs.
Wow Sasha, you have a lot of widgets (isn't that what you call the thingys in the right column?) here. I'm not sure about these as I've been told to avoid too many. I'll check out this one. I've bookmarked this post. Thanks.
I think you may get more bang for your buck if you join MyBlogLog and add the Recent Visitor Widget on your sidebar. Put a face to your readers, foster interaction, and uncover new real estate blogs. Just a thought! :)
Great tutorial Sasha. I am definitely going to sign up for Blog Rush. You did a very good job with the presentation. Look out for your next tutorials. Great post.
Hey Sasha! I got the Blog Rush logo on my blog. But I am having trouble getting the other logo the I heart symbol and other thing that looks like a fire logo onto my blog. I need some help with that. Great post.
Great info. I appreciate the invite to watch your well produced video. I have only been a newbie for a week or so and I had been previously referred to your website from someone else.
Hi Sasha - Thanks so much for posting this. I hope you have time for a question (or two). I went through your steps and it looked like it all worked, except for the fact that on Step 3 in Blog Rush when it tells you to copy and then verify it just kept bringing me back to the same screen when I hit the verify button. So, I'm not quite sure that it worked. Perhaps I will be able to tell in a day or two . . .
My real question is, I have a large database of clients. I communicate with most of them via e-mail, but to be honest I am sure that a large majority have no idea what an RSS feed is or how to use it to subscribe or keep up with my blog. Is there another way for these people to subscribe to my blog . . . like a subscription button that will send my new posts to their e-mail. I just can't imagine enticing come of my clients - who I know would love reading my blog - to firgure out how to use and check the RSS feed . . . Any thoughts?
Hi Larne, The "Heart Thingy" is for Feedburner. It is the leading provider of media distribution and audience engagement services for blogs and RSS feeds. I can't describe how to place them on the blog BUT I will be posting a video to show you step-by-step how to do so in the very near future. Simply subscribe to my blog and you'll be notified as soon as it's up. Best, - Sash
Hi Karen, In NVU, you write and edit your post on the main screen (Normal view --> bottom left tab) and then, once you're done (photo's are tricky...you cant post them, you need to link then from an on-line account like photobucket), you need have to go to the source tab (bottomleft) and cut and past the source code (not including the first line) in active rain (under HTML Tab).
This sounds a lot harder than it is and I will also post a video on how to do this when I have a few hours. Subscribe to my blog and you'll be be notified as soon as it's up. Best, -Sash
Hi Robin,Thanks a lot for your post.My only suggestion is to start from scratch and watch the video over.I really do not know why that is happening to you (reloading the verify screen). You probably are not copying the right URL (web site of your blog). Please watch the video again and if you can’t get it, e-mail me personally and I’ll set up some time to call you and go over it with you step by step.
With respect to your database, my opinion (and it’s only an opinion) is that you are very fortunate to have a large database.Personally, I MAIL my database my personal newsletter every month and last year 38% of my business came directly from this source. It is a little bit of work but it beats the heck out of door knocking, cold calling or begging FSBO’s for business. My database also gets e-mailed monthly bet I don't think it’s all that effective due to the fact that it’s far too easy to delete the e-mails.Finally, I have just started to promote RSS Feeds through my newsletter and we’ll have to wait to see how effective it is.
If the content is good, people will subscribe.Don’t forget, the majority of your database will not be moving so the content should NOT be Real Estate specific BUT general interest (such as how to remove stains, or about composting in the fall, etc.)
I’ll be posting a video on RSS feeds in the near future. It’s very easy to do and your blog will be posted directly on the subscribers home screen in yahoo, google, or wherever.Best, -Sash
Hi Sara, Unfortunately, I can't explain how to get a RSS Feed link on your blog by e-mailing you directions. I'm sure that you can see the mountainous complexities in this. However, I will be posting other videos on how to do this quickly and easily especially if you aren't a "propeller-heat" (computer nerd) :-). Simply subscribe to this blog and you'll be notified once it's up.
One final thought, upgrad to the latest version if IE (Internet Explorer). Better yet, download and start using Mozilla Firefox. It's the same thing as IE but a lot better with fewer problems and complications. Click Here to go to Mozilla Firefox to download the latest version. Best, -Sash
Hi Jennifer, You should have Adobe Flash Player 9 Installed in your computer for the video to work. Click Here to download a free copy. To Install the Blog Rush Code, go to...
My Home --> My Settings --> And Paste the Code in the Blog Description above or below any code that is already there.
After you load in Flash 9, the video should walk you through this easily. Best, -Sash
Sasha - Thanks for all your help and concern! I believe Blog Rush will be installed on my AR blog now. Not sure what I did differently this time around, but the Blog Rush shadow has now appreared! Again - THANKS! I will be watching for your RSS blog.
Hi there! Finally got it to play. Great video. I am at a relatives, but can't wait to get home this weekend to get it set up. Thanks a million! JENNIFER
Hi Aida, Unfortunately I can't tell what you're doing wrong BUT I urge you to open up two browsers side by side and install Blog Rush while you're watching the video. Pause the video as you go along so that it doesn't get ahead of you and you may also want to make sure your web browser is current.
Sasha: Thanks so much for the training video. Very well done... I learned quite a bit. Thanks so much for sharing. PS... you might want to run Spell-Check before you submit your posts... just a suggestion... :)
Thanks, Sasha, for your comments on my blog and for your video training here. Like me, I see that you like the free programs scattered across the web. GREAT!
Word of caution, though: Just be careful about your free downloads. That's an excellent way to pick up spyware (also known as malware) if you do not have a strong computer protection program on your PC. I'd like to show you what I'm doing to protect my PC since I picked up a spyware or virus that caused my pc to crash.
I'd also like to show you how you can increase your sales by using an incentive when your prospects and clients purchase a home from you, or how you can open an additional stream of income using our affiliate program.
Thanks again for making me feel right at home and part of this family from the get-go.
Sasha, thanks very much for sharing this information. I am always looking for ways to make my blogs better and get more people looking at them extensively
I'm new to Active Rain and blogging in general and your video cleared up some things for me. After a few more posts, I will certainly get Blog Rush from your link and put my AR URL and feed link in.
My question now is: can I (or should I or not) take the same Blog Rush widget code and put in on my Typepad blog that I started before I found AR?
By the way, I typed this message using NVU as you suggest in your video. It is by far the easiest free WYSWYG editor out there.
Thank You Sasha for teaching me a new technique. Keeping up with technology today is getting harder and harder. I'm all for it though and with simple instructional videos like yours, can it get much easier :-)?
Loved the video. Thank you so much for your contribution. I will be trying out Gold Rush. NVU is pretty interesting but I know HTML. It is amazing how resourceful you are and found that software to manipulate the code in a way you could understand. Great work. So since March (you referenced this being the month you recorded), how has this affected your traffic? And...did you ever post the video on RSS feeds? Have a great weekend, Sash and thank you!

Hi Sash, Thanks for the video lead, I will try to put all of this new knowledge into use when I complete my first blog. I appreciate your encouragement and information sharing. Thanks Diane Daley
I was very interested in this and then found it discontinued. I notice you are using pay dot com but this appears only to be affiliate payments Do you know of anything like blogrush?
Hey Sasha...I just clicked on the link to watch the video and the site is being taken down! Anyone who has the widget has to remove it. That's too bad...looked like a really good program. Thanks for sharing!
Okay, so after reading you post and going through your 26 minute video, I decided to go to the Blog Rush video. I discovered, like others recently on your post, that Blog Rush is no longer in business. Perhaps you could edit your post so others don't waste their time like I did. It's too bad because it seemed like a really great widget.
