Google It Dude in Katy TX.
With the creation of the Old Farts Club by our friend Myrl Jeffcoat I thought it was appropriate for me to post about my recent IPod issues and the solution. I work out on average 5 times a week in the early morning. As a way to survive I have my IPod playing classic rock music on the whole time I am at LifeTime Fitness.
Three weeks ago or so my IPod keep playing the same song over and over again. This situation takes my mind off what I am doing and forces me to concentrate on pulling the IPod out of pocket and changing the song. I had no idea how or why this situation occurred. No matter what I did nothing corrected my IPod issue. This post is perfect for the Old Farts Club as I was totally lost what to do. I even considered buying a new IPod. I could use my IPhone but the weight plus size does not work so well when lifting weights or using a treadmill.
After one morning of frustration with this IPod, I remembered the infamous words of my soon to be 25 year old (expert on all topics) stepson being “Google it Dude”. As I was typing in the question Google gave me the full title for the search. Obviously this topic has been searched numerous times in the past and I am not the only technology challenged person out there! The first 3 links shown on the search discussed older versions of an IPod as it seems Google really does not factor in time or date into the search rankings. I have seen this situation many times with searches The fourth item told me exactly what to do to solve this issue. I grabbed the IPod and in a few seconds this repeating the same song over and over again nonsense was gone. I was relieved and at the same time I felt a little stupid as it took me about 4-5 days of working out pain to finally “Google it Dude”!
