Where are they? They signed up.....
I was looking for a REALTOR (in Colorado) that signed on and set up a profile today and found 6,521 total that have signed in, and some have started a profile. Some even wrote a few posts, but then disappeared. Guess they had no idea had they stuck with this "blogging thing", that it could include solid relationships across the Country with other bloggers - plus a BONUS, REFERRALS! Last week I got two calls from ActiveRain members trying to give me referrals to Boulder. Sure wish it was closer, in my MLS, as that would have been SWEET. Over an hour one way is too far, and I don't have expertise for buyers in Boulder. Unfortunately, there are no active bloggers in Boulder!
Granted, getting referrals does not happen overnight. I floundered for 3 years with no idea of what I was doing (OK, maybe I still don't) and when I got my first referral from Austin, I thought I better get busy. If you are selling, inspecting, doing title, or lending, you know what you are doing, and you DO have something to offer to this community.
Going through some of those names tonight, I found some successful REALTORS®, and they could have added to their success by continuing to blog here on ActiveRain. Maybe no one was there to help them with questions.... They can always call me with questions. We all have them.
