Outlook help

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for helping backing up Outlook. Contacts and emails ..... I keep trying the PST. thing, which I thought would be simple, but I can't open the pst. files once I save them. I get garbage. It's frustrating because normally I'm fairly computer literate.

I'm sure I'm missing something .... any suggestions?

You can only open pst with outlook I think.  I exported all mine to pst on  a cd and then on my new computer on outlook i picked import file then pst and selected it and it opened all the items into my new outlook program... HOPE THAT HELPS!!

Nicole - Thanks! I finally realized that they only open in Outlook after I asked for help. Duhhh It's always the simplest things that trip me up
