Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey's Greatest Show on Earth came to Austin's Frank Erwin Center a few days ago. It was a great show! It was very different than the last two years, and that's good and bad. 
It's Good because it gets boring seeing the same act each year, so it was refreshing to have a new theme.
It's Bad because we missed the caged motorcycles and the flying trapeze and several other cool acts of the show.
The kids made a list of their Top 10 favorite things. I kinda stopped listening after the top 5 because they're no longer "favorites" when you get to listing so many, but here are some that I remembered them saying.
They loved the painting Elephant.
The Tumbling.
The Girl shooting out of the Canon.
The 6 guys Falling back and forth on the trampoline.
The Unicycle Basketball Game
And the Tigers... the scary Tigers...
It was also a tad long this year. I remember it usually being just about 2 hours, but this show was 2 1/2 hours... and with a 3 1/2 year old, it was about 30 minutes too long!! He wanted to leave at the intermission, but had him tough it out. We definitely got our money's worth at 2 1/2 hours, but I rather it be shorter to not have the complaining...
Hope you get to see The Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey's Greatest Show on Earth when it comes to your town. It's a Construction theme, and boys verse girls... I believe the girls won!
