I know that the general consensus is that Northern New Jersey home ownership has become beyond the reach of many first time home buyers. This is not true if you come to Susex County. A quick perusal of the Garden State Multiple Listing Service today listed 505 homes priced at $250,000 or less.
Moving to Sussex County may mean time spent commuting for many of you but in return you get to live in one of the most beautiful areas of the country(In my opinion). While still being a little more than an hour from NYC you get to live in the mountains where you are surrounded by recreational activities for your family to enjoy.
