Here are the three things I'm thankful for today:
1) I am thankful that it is raining. It’s raining fairly gently, and we really need it. It has been so dry
2) I am thankful that we have a great garden yet. And, some of the fall colors are coming on in the garden now!
3) I am thankful that the tomato plants are giving us enough tomatoes this year to make some great salsa. And, Debbie Reynolds. I will be using your recipe. Thank YOU for that!

My tomatoes are coming on strong too! Dried some yesterday. Last year I sliced and dried some, and then I was able to use them in eggs, pastas, soups, etc. They were like sun dried tomatoes, so yummy!

Suzanne, Glad to hear its raining in Minnesota especially when you say it has been dry. We supposedly were to get rain every day this week but it only rained one day. My grass looks like a desert right now. You and Ron have a great weekend. The Tahnkful series of blogs is a good idea.

OMG I LOVE LOVE LOVE fresh tomatoes and home made salsa. We just don't get those good ole MN tomatoes here in AZ and they're tough to grow here. I've tried a couple of times and gave up. Enjoy that salsa!!!
