Funny how life works. You get, you give, you win and you lose. In my life I have learned a few things that I share whenever and wherever I can. It took awhile but I have learned that it is important to take what you need, and then give what you can. There are times when it seems there is nothing to take and then times when it seems there is so very much. My view is when opportunity is available, take, but not more than you need, and be generous to those who are waiting for a time when they can take too. I think it is called paying it forward. I try to do this and it makes most of my days better. Hey there is no perfect. Try it......
My mom told me early and often, "be a giver not a taker". That has servered me well throughout my life. Thank you for the reminder.

Good afternoon friends and thank you for stopping by and leaving your comments and offering your support: I really appreciate it.
Hello Suzanne. I not a hippie, sorry. I was raised before that and it wasn't my style but if the hippie code is to give more than you get: I'm in. Time is valuable and it is a real gift. Thank you.
Hi Liz. Your example is a good one. Moreover, I agree with you about Suzanne's commitment. Thanks Liz, and I hope that this finds you well. Thank you.
Hello Dale. Your Mom is/was a very wise woman. Thank you for affirming her thinking and now mine.
Sheila
Take what you need, but need what you take! And to add the old adage: Better to give, then receive.
Yes, I agree with you on this one whole heartedly.

Love the photo of the dogwood flower. And your message today is a good one. Take what life gives you when it gives it to you.

If the inhabitants of the world all shared your attitude what a wonderful place it would be.

Thanks so much Chris Ann. I appreciate your support. Have a great weekend. Sheila
I've been truly blessed in my life and I try to pay it forward. I was helped by others so many times just when I needed it most, most times without asking. And sometimes when I am doing something to "give back" I find I'm richly rewarded in giving as well. An example of that is the wonderful young people I've gotten to watch become adults that were my Sunday School babies. My life is certainly better for knowing them.

Sheila there is enough for everybody and I am one that loves to share. I don't need so much stuff like I thought I did in younger years. When I'm not using it I pass it one. It will make somebody else happy and then it's enjoyed twice. Seems like the perfect solution to me! Enjoy your weekend!

My husband and I often marvel at how lucky and blessed we are, so it is only natural for us pay it forward as often as we can.

If everyone thought this way, not many out there would be wanting. Great mindset Sheila.

Hi Anaa. I hope you are feeling better. You know I agree with less as we grow. Letting someone else enjoy is the way to go. Thank you.

So sad everyone doesn't take that approach Sheila. If they did just imagine what this world could be

Sheila, first of all, what a beautiful flower, and second, if we follow your advice, there would be less Wall Street greed, fewer fights over land, and more peace on earth. Thank you for a great reminder!

James, you are very kind. Thank you.
Hi Ron. Your recognitition gives me pause and joy. Thank you.
I have been in free flea mode to clean out closets. I point to what I have not used and do not need. Then my pals box or bag it up to enjoy!
