Two water heaters schedule to be installed on the same day, different properties.

Water heater installations and replacements seem to come in groups, I’m not sure why that is but it happened again. So this week I need to install two water heater units, one at each of two different properties.

The good thing about that is that I will have the tools that I need for both on the same day. There is nothing as frustrating as being asked to install a unit the same day I you do not have all the tools and equipment. Trust me it still gets done, but I end up with more than my share of Mapp gas and torches. Getting the heater installed is the top priority, no matter what it takes.

The bad thing about the two installs is that there is a time pressure getting them both in by the end of the day. Any time setbacks can make the second install a real challenge. Think about the tenant not being awake yet, no water won’t shut off, and the hardware store not having what I need. All of these can add to the time to bring the jobs to completion.

Personally, I like the challenge. I’ll do my part in making this happen on time. Hopefully, I have enough experience and judgment to make good decisions when it comes to managing my time and effort.

I like having similar jobs lined up, your tools are lined up, mind is lined up and mass production in in order.  Think how efficient you would be with a dozen or more lined up in a week.

There is a definite amount of efficiency in the larger numbers Bob, we see it all the time.
