This week for my reblog fest I will be highlighting a few of the hundreds of videos that were posted this past month for the Summer Video Challenge.

Congratulations to all who stepped out of their comfort zone, wish that I could post many more than ten, but there are limits in the rain so we will have to enjoy these ten here and go to the Summer video post to see the rest of the great entries.

I encourage you to take a few minutes each week to share some of the gems that you come across, people will appreciate the support and you may even get a few points and a thank you for your efforts.

Don't forget to click on the title above, go to the original blog post and share how much you love the post with a comment.

Have a great week!

ps, take a few minutes to check out a few of the other posts too, you will be glad that you did.

Mountain biking in South Phoenix and Laveen, is just one of the many outdoor activities one can enjoy.  The South Phoenix mountain preserve has over 16000 acres of land, and as luck would have it there is miles of trail to explore.  Sure one can take the time to stretch the legs out a bit and take a hike through the miles of trails, but you can also enjoy great mountain bike trails.

The South/East entrance of the preserve offers several great starting points.  Access be acheived at about 48th Street and Guadalupe, just follow the signs.  There is plenty of parking, though weekends can fill up, so show up early on weekends.  In summer time with the heat, you'll want to go early anyway as it will zap the life and energy from you body.

You can also gain access to several trails by coming in the park entrance at Central Ave south of Baseline, which is located in South Phoenix.  There are MANY places to park, so consider picking up a map and choosing one of the several trails to explore and park accordingly.  Also, the park offers a variety of skill level trails, so for you kamakazee types that like to speed down the mountain and hit some jumps, yes there are trails for you as well.
