Early morning walks on a deserted Mainstreet of any town can be special. The soft morning sun throwing shadows unseen by most. The quiet almost surreal for any city or town. Evenings have their own special pull with the noises of the people while they go about their business or play.
Sandpoint continually is adding to peoples pleasure of walking the downtown streets. New streets with sidewalks and special drainage planters continue to be installed yearly. New metal artists sculptures are seen on the corners of intersections. Mosaics on the sides of buildings seem to pop up almost overnight. The sign pictured, if you look closely, is quite unique in that it is actually made from old street directional signs.
So the next time you are in Sandpoint Idaho take an extra moment, grab a mocha, and stroll the streets for nothing more than to enjoy the ambiance and beauty.
