Birch Bay has been one of the best areas in Whatcom County to get a great deal on a new construction home for quite sometime. The Bay Crest development started by Homestead and finished out by DB Johnson, Anderson Park, Lincoln Green and Malibu Estates on the south end of Birch Bay are the main areas one will find new construction homes in Birch Bay proper. Birch Bay Village frequently also has at least one or two new construction homes although the development goes back into the 70's. Just outside of Birch Bay you will find Semiahmoo and Loomis Trail and the Harbor Shore developments with some new construction homes as well.
