Illegal Aliens Welcomed On Bellingham Bay

I have been busy the last few days between work and writing a second meme. However, I am never too busy to occasionally take a walk. While we had snow on Saturday, today has been a mixed bag. We went from sunshine and warm temperatures -- lawn mowing weather, to rain. Now it looks pretty nice again. I might get stuck mowing the front lawn tonight -- rain please! I thought I would share a few recent photos that I took down by the water. This is the harbor, Eldridge neighorhood of Bellingham. After all, what is the point in living at a port city if you don't check out the water? Take a look at the bold illegal aliens below.

Canadian visitors without proper passports!

Hey Steve, I am sure you know this, but I thought I would bring it up for all those that aren't aware, that they aren't Canadian geese, they are Canada geese.  Interesting little tid bit.

Yeah,

I learned that once on a bus tour of Vancouver. Frankly, I find that they respond about the same no matter what you call them.

LOL .... At least YOUR Illegal Aliens are faily docile. Down in my neck of the woods the Illegal aliens here are Nile Monitor Lizards which get up to 7 feet long, Various varieties of Pythons, Boas, and other BIG snakes, Iguanas, and other wildlife. I can handle waking up and seeing Canadian Geese on the lake behind the house, but I don't get too excited over the Lizards and Snakes.

Steven:  Uh Oh.  Illegal aliens swimming across the river.  What an absolutely beautiful sight it must be when they come in out of the sky and make their landings.  Thanks for sharing.

I will take my honkers any day over snakes and lizards. Snakes and I do not see eye to eye.
