What a day....

When I woke up this morning I couldn't wait to get started.  I slept like a baby and feeling energized and ready to get started.

Got into the office early to get a few things done before heading out to show one of my listings.  Then, I'm not sure what happened.  I got a late start to show my listing, maybe this is where it all started.  I hit every stop light as I am heading to the interstate.  Whew, I made it, now I only have 15 miles to go and only 17 minutes to get there.

Now I'm in traffic with all of the crazed Cardinal fans heading to Busch Stadium for opening day.  Wait, it is only 9:45am and the game doesn't start until 3:15pm.  HOUSTON, WE'VE GOTTA PROBLEM.  I've got these fanatics on the right of me and can't move to the other lane.  Just about 5 miles from the house I'm in the wrong lane on the interstate and, you guessed it, I'm in the wrong lane and can't get over.  My GPS is telling me to go straight and I have to go left.

That's alright I've got my GPS.  All she is telling me is, I'm re-calculating your trip.  Boy that's comforting!  I've only got 3 minutes to get there.  Now I'm sweating rocks, nerves are on end and I am not sure how to get there from here.  I've got it I'll turn around but there is not another exit for another mile.  I get to the exit and turn around with my GPS constantly reminding me of that fact.  Now I'm heading in the right direction, late and my nerves are shot.  Now I get to the house, 7 minutes late, and no client and I even called him to make sure he was going to be there.  My first thought is, he's been here and left, darn the luck.  Hmmmmm, now I'm HOT.  Wait, is that him, yessssssssss, things are starting to look up investors always buy cause they know what they are looking for.  BTW, he was warned about what this home looked like inside.  We walk in and you could tell that he thought about turning around and leaving but, he did stick it out and looked at the whole home.

Oh well it wasn't such a good day for the Cards their game got rained out and they were winning 5 to 1 in the 3rd inning and now they have to play on their off day.

I sure hope that you had a better start to your Monday morning and a winning day!
