CT United Ride - 2014 - The 9/11 Ride We knew that today The 9/11 Ride was going to come through Newtown. 4,000 motocycles is what we heard. All coming through Newtown as part of the ride. We were scheduled to be in the office for the afternoon and figured that we would probably see the ride. Well, we did & here's a short video:
The CT United Ride is Connecticut's largest annual 9/11 tribute. This motorcycle ride began in Norwalk, CT and after after a meandering route (which Newtown was a part of) ended in Bridgeport, CT. To be a part of the ride, a $25.00 donation per motorcyle and $25.00 for a passenger. Donations support CT Firefighters, CT Law Enforcement and two local United Ways. Here's a link to the website.
