This "evergreen" cedar tree is in front of my office.  Dead eh?  Well actually no.  And I'm going to take photos over the next few weeks and you're going to be amazed.  I have no idea why this tree does this... I've never seen it happen anywhere else.  It's about 10 to 12 feet tall, so it's really a big ugly eye sore right now.

The last time it happened I told my grass guy to cut it down.  He brought his saw and then told me it looked like it might be trying to live.  I went out and looked at it and it had little new green growth all over it.  That was about 4 or 5 years ago.

So when this summer it turned all icky brown again I have been watching for a few weeks.  This week there are tiny little green spots here and there. I decided to "document" it's return to life with photos this time.

And I got to thinking about if we as agent might ever "give up" too soon.  When we try a "new shiny" system do we give up if it doesn't work quick enough. If a client doesn't email us back after they see property with us do we write them off as a "dead deal" too soon. If that agent doesn't come to work for us when we ask one time, do we give up too soon?  Perhaps if we just keep watering it and waiting and watering it, it will turn green again.

I'll keep you all posted on the progress of the resting cedar tree.

I hope in another week the green will start to actually show on my poor little resting tree.  Thanks Bob.
