So much opportunity for business

It's gives me the warm fuzzies when I realize just how much of an opportunity there is for every Realtor in the business right now.  We are in a real estate market where the 3P's just don't work anymore. (PUT the sign up, PUTit in the MLS and PRAY) Believe it or not that is actually thought at some real estate companies.  This business is really simply once you understand it.  The Realtors that are willing to work will prosper in any market condition.  The reason I get excited about it is that lead generation has never been easier.  Today in out MLS there were 138 expired listings!!! To some of you that may seen like not alot but for our market that is huge.  Don't get me wrong, some of those homes probably needed to come off the market if the sellers were not "true sellers" of were not willing to prep their homes for the sale.  However for the most part everyone of those expireds is a seller that needs to sell.  Another thing is FSBOs, In a thriving market they stood a chance if they priced it low enough but now..."Bless their heart" They needs us more than ever if they truly have a need to sell and are not just "testing the waters" as many FSBOs claim.  So if you are a Realtor in this market and you feel like things are not looking up for you...CHIN UP and get out there with some confidence and know that your services are valuable, needed and worth every penny.  I a firm believer that to succeed in this business all you need is a smile and a convincing argument as people just want to be serviced.

Mike- Ah, it is a great time to be in the business. When working smart gets you ahead and all the ones that wanted the fast buck are gone and leaving the business.:)

There are plenty of opportunities out there. It just depends where you are looking.

The ones that want to make it in this market will.  The ones that want things handed to them won't. Work hard and smart and you will make it.
