30 Days of Marketing Opportunities - Day 22

This series of 30 Days of Marketing Opportunities will give you 30 projects or tasks that your Virtual Assistant can handle on your behalf, generating leads that will ultimately generate more income for you!  These are tasks that do not require a lot of high-end skill but, instead, require some time (hence the reason your Virtual Assistant should handle these tasks, not you!) and attention to detail.  Join me on the journey and I welcome your feedback!

Day 22 - Read to a Classroom

Pick a school in your farm area and arrange with the administrators to come in and read to one or more classrooms. Kindergarten through 3rd grade works best. (After all, once you hit 4th grade, you don't have time for anyone reading to you like a baby!) Here's what you do:

Plan to spend an hour or two at a local elementary school, reading to the children. At the end of your visit, give each child a book. Inside the book, put your brochure and 2 business cards. Or you can give each child a bag to take home that includes a new book, and any other information you would like to give their parents. This is a great way to develop a new area to promote yourself - a specific school (or schools) in your area! You can become the school realtor or mortgage broker! This can be something you do monthly - just rotate classrooms. For examples of places where you can get larger quantities of books at a discount, try these websites:

Reading to children is extremely beneficial to them so their teachers and school administrators will appreciate the time you spend in the building. In addition, you'll become a local fixture in your farm area. What's better than that??
