Of course it is the new hype! It is the NEWEST of Apple! Who wouldn't want a larger screen and double the features?!

Did you know that within the first 24 hours, Apple had over 4 million advance orders of the new iPhones, which exceeded their initial supply? Which beats the 2 million orders, 2 years ago, pretty crazy! There were even outages on the company's websites due to the heavy traffic of those wanting to purchase online. Apple's stock rose 30 cents to $101.96 in midday trading Monday.

Cool features of the new iPhones are the iPhone 6 is 4.7 inches & the iPhone 6 Plus is 5.5 inches and besides the larger screen, they have faster performance and a wireless chip for making credit card purchases/payments at retail stores just by holding the phone by the payment terminal.

This Friday & throughout the month, the newest of the iPhones - iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus; will be delivered to customers but others may have to wait until October! A free update to Apple's iOS software for mobile devices will be available to existing users on Wednesday. The new phones will come with the update, known as iOS 8.

Louis, I have been using the new iPhone 6+ for a little over a week and I have been pleasantly surprised at how many functional upgrades they have made. The battery is longer lasting in the larger 6+, I was able to get one with 128 gig so storage will no longer be an issue, the processor is much faster and I noticied it mostly when I was rendering a video using iMovie and Splice, the actual camera has some neat new features and I could go on and on. The difference between the iPhone 5S and the 6+ is the difference between night and day. A side benefit with buying the 6+ is that I have a feeling my iPad will spend a lot more time in my briefcase because the 6+ is similar functioning to the iPad Mini.
