I am told this roof will never leak again. We are saved.

Yes, my first experience with this new and greatest leak stopper ever. I lifted my world to see it.

What did I see?

The handyman that you can get that comes in a can! We really are saved.

You just climb up on the roof, get out the spray can, shake it, and solve your leaking roof problems then and there!

It has to be true. Results are not only immediate, but permanent too!

I've seen it on TV!

This is a problem solved. Obviously.

Well, the spray can handyman and something else solved this problem.

The ever-popular second layer of shingles!

Heck, there might even be a third there!

This guy has a PhD in roofing - piling it higher and deeper!

It just brings a tear to your eye, right?

I have to tell you, my clients were really, really happy! Tears came to their eyes too. Well, maybe not tears of happiness, but tears nonetheless!

My recommendation: sometimes things seen from the ground bear a closer look. And how proud a home inspector can be to see such a popular TV infomercial product (which now also comes in white and clear!!) used in such a clever and professional way. This was my first experience feeling so proud, but given the fact that more products are being developed and more commercials are being produced means that lots of people must be buying it! And if they are I am likely to see more of this! Sigh...

I need a new roof. Please let me know where I can get 6" roofing nails. I already have the spray waterproofing...I'm a sucker for those TV commercials.

A second layer of shingles? Did they spray 'sealer in a can' and then put additional shingles and then spray it again? That has to be a permanent fix!

Years ago, buyers I represented found a home inspector on their own. During the inspection, the tenants in the home pointed at the ceiling in a bedroom and said, "When it rains, water comes in here." Home inspector blew it off, took out binoculars, declared himself a "roofing expert" and said it was fine.

Oh how I wish they had taken my suggestion of inspector that actually inspects.

Chris Ann - that probably could have also been investigated in the attic. That's the first place I would have gone. Looking on the outside of roofs for leak sources is difficult at best. And when the tenant says something, it is almost always certain!
