El Matador State Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Malibu!

Address: 32215 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu CA

Hours: 8 a.m. to sunset

Parking: A fee parking lot is open 8 a.m. to sunset. Fee is $8.00. Do pay. Tickets can be very pricey and park rangers do check. A parking lot is small, so it can be a challenge during weekends and holidays to score a spot.

Good to know: be prepared for a long hike down the beach and back up to the parking. Can be challenging with little kids, senior citizens, or if you walk in hills( El Matador is very popular spot for photo-shoots). Do bring some snacks and water with you. Bathrooms are.....near the parking lot only.

Best time to visit: Sunset!

The beautiful rock formations and caves are breathtaking and photo worthy.

If you are looking for a romantic, relaxing, a getaway from the city~ visit El Matador State Beach!
